In April 2023, as one of the first Chinese furniture brands to collaborate with leading international designers, HC28 was proud to announce that its latest creation — the ORIGAMI Sofa — received the prestigious 2023 Red Dot Design Award, coinciding with the Milan Design Week.
The ORIGAMI Sofa is designed by German designer Hanne Willmann, founder of her multidisciplinary Berlin-based studio established in 2015, specializing in creative consultancy and product design in the fields of furniture, lighting, and accessories.
Her fascination with and meticulous attention to detail — sometimes bordering on “perfectionist” — is precisely what infuses the ORIGAMI Sofa with its timeless appeal from the very moment it debuted.
