Winner of Both iF and Red Dot Awards — HC28 BUFA Sofa Crowned with Double Honors
In April 2022, the results of two of the world’s most prestigious industrial design awards — the German Red Dot Design Award, often hailed as the “Oscars of Industrial Design,” and the iF Design Award, regarded as the highest recognition of design excellence — were officially announced. With its exceptionally rigorous judging criteria, the Red Dot Award represents the pinnacle of global industrial design, while the iF Design Award celebrates outstanding design quality. The BUFA Sofa proudly claimed both titles, earning a remarkable double win.
Launched in 2021 under the HC28 Cosmo collection, the BUFA Sofa is designed by Yonoh Creative Studio. Inspired by the playful form of balloons, BUFA features a full and rounded silhouette with an elastic visual appeal. Detailed stitching is applied to both the inner and outer sides of the backrest, while the seat cushions adopt smooth, curved surfaces without a single sharp edge.
