Christian Werner

Christian Werner started his own office for product and interior design in 1992. Since then he design furniture and accessories for different international clients such as Ligne Roset (since 1993), Thonet, Duravit, and Rolf Benz to name a few. In his office his team has been responsible for a range of interior projects for different professional as well as private clients.

His design philosophy is best described with : functional yet emotional , sensual yet factual. It is important for him to integrate a certain emotional aspect beyond pure function and technology as he is convinced what defines people as human beings is our emotional competence. Design for him is the harmony of function, technology, craftsmanship with a sensual experience.
